Not much I can say about this. We are still without power and little water, off the grid living has new meaning. My mother who is recovering from heart surgery and is bed-ridden hooked up to monitors has made it and kept a positive attitude. Thank goodness for my camping gear and skills as a guide. When the sky is dark and the night silent with nothing but candles and conversation it is a different world. We are fortunate, devastation from a Cat 5 hurricane at landfall to the south and west, especially along the road from Port St. Joe to Mexico Beach is not comprehensible. There is nothing left.

UPDATE: we have power, it is wonderful.
